Tiramisu con i biscotti/Tiramisu with biscuits

Tiramisu, one of the whole family’s favorite desserts. Today I made a variation using dry biscuits instead of ladyfingers. As in the classic recipe, I first made the coffee and put it in a small bowl with a little milk. Then I whipped the egg whites with a pinch of salt using a mixer, then in another bowl I whipped the egg yolks with sugar and mascarpone cheese.

To make the layers of tiramisu, I started by dipping the dry biscuits in the coffee and milk mixture and keeping them in for about 6 seconds, then I placed them on the bottom of a baking dish. I added the egg whites to the bowl with the mascarpone cheese and mixed gently, then made the next layer. Repeat the layers of soaked biscuits and mascarpone cheese until you have used up all the ingredients. Top with chocolate chips…delicious. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. You can also put it in the freezer.

Buon Appetito!!
